Where we started
The Arnott name has been on gas and heating work in the North East for over sixty years, passed down through the family. Arnotts & Co as it stands today was set up in 2018. What’s changed since is the range. It started with heating. Then customers kept asking whether we could do the electrics as well, and then whether we could sort the plastering and the joinery while we were at it. So we brought those trades in house rather than sending people elsewhere.
How we’re set up
Heating engineers, electricians, joiners and plasterers, all under one roof. That’s unusual for a firm this size and it’s deliberate.
It means when the electrician needs a plasterer behind him, he’s already here. No gaps between trades, no waiting on somebody else’s diary, and nobody blaming the last man in. For a customer it’s one number, one price and one firm carrying the can. On commercial work the same thing runs through our maintenance contracts.

Arnotts & Co are Gas Safe registered, 628964, and NAPIT registered, 83048, with £10m public liability and a 12 month warranty on parts and labour. Every job is certificated properly and the paperwork comes to you filed and dated.
